Tylosaur

A late cretaceous sea predator, one of the mosasaurs. In size a bit bigger than an orca I think. Trying to get some movement into the picture by slanting the angle and stirring up the seafloor. Looking at it I see that I have repeated a lot of the same pictorial elements as with "Australovenator", just under the sea. But hey, if it works... The ammonites were both very big and small, but I am not sure if this is the size it should be, if it doesn't make the tylosaur look a little too small. Painted in acrylics with "cool" primaries. Could do with some more work on the background and water reflections. Still, happy with it. It might feature in the next issue of Prehistoric Times: Prehistoric Times Magazine Home Page.
